Patchwork Farm

Patchwork Farm is a therapeutic care farm that has been specially designed to allow the young people on-site at Chailey Heritage Foundation a unique, hands-on, multi-sensory experience with a number of different animals. 

All of the animal paddocks are fitted with 4ft gates for wheelchair access directly into the animals' enclosures. Concrete paths and the outdoor learning centre allows young people and adults to visit the farm all year round.

As well as the therapeutic benefits the farm offers to the young people accessing our own services, Patchwork Farm is also open for external schools and groups from the wider community to book educational sessions for a unique, close up experience.

The sessions for pupils of Chailey Heritage School have clear learning objectives linked to their ‘My Next Steps’ targets, which all contribute to learning.
