We are a charity and a thriving community of support
Living with complex disabilities can be overwhelming and isolating and getting the right support can be challenging.
For over 120 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to nurturing the potential of every child and young person we work with, who are living with multiple physical, medical and communication needs.
We are a thriving community of support for them and their families.
At Chailey Heritage Foundation, our values guide everything we do. They shape how we support children and young people, work alongside families, collaborate with partners and create a positive environment for our colleagues.
They reflect what matters most to us as an organisation and provide a shared foundation for how we work together every day.
We care about each other, working together as a team to create a safe and supportive environment. We look out for one another and create a sense of belonging, ensuring children, young people, families and colleagues feel valued, respected and included.
We work with many people, both within and beyond our organisation, to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people. By sharing ideas, expertise and experience, we continuously improve and maximise the impact we can have together.
We are committed to learning, developing and growing together. We support one another, celebrate achievements and continually build our knowledge and skills so that we can provide the very best support for those who rely on us.
We are dedicated professionals, helping each child and young person reach their fullest potential. We are proud of the positive difference we make and bring commitment, professionalism and purpose to everything we do.
We understand that the work we do can be both challenging and rewarding. We respond with resilience, patience and adaptability, meeting changing needs and remaining committed to being there for children and young people when they need us most.
Together, these values shape the experiences we create for children and young people, their families, our colleagues and everyone who is part of the Chailey Heritage Foundation community.
Our vision is of a society where individuals of all abilities are valued and no one is excluded because of their disability.
Our mission is to give disabled children and young people every opportunity to pursue their fullest potential.
