We opened the new Dervia Sensory Studio, a purpose‑built space designed to enhance learning, development and wellbeing for children and young people at the school.Funded by the Dervia Foundation, the studio opened in February and now offers three individual sensory rooms created by our specialist team. Each room provides a carefully designed environment where pupils can explore sound, light, movement and texture in ways that support their education, sensory needs and development goals.These new spaces will allow children and young people to learn, communicate and express themselves in ways that are right for them. They also give our therapists and teachers greater flexibility to tailor sessions to meet each pupil’s needs. We’re incredibly grateful to the Dervia Foundation for making this transformative project possible. Their generosity will have a lasting impact on the children and young people we support every day.
