We’re thrilled to share that our Assistant Head Teacher, Paula Marten, is gearing up to run The Big Half Marathon in London on 7th September, all in support of Chailey Heritage Foundation.

Having dedicated nearly eleven years to working at Chailey Heritage Foundation, Paula has witnessed the profound and life-changing impact the Foundation has on children and young people with complex disabilities.

“Our school is an incredible place, filled with spirit and positivity,” Paula shares. “I know the difference it makes to the lives of the children and their families. Supporting Chailey is a huge motivation for me to take on this challenge.”

Although this will be Paula’s first Half Marathon, she’s no stranger to running for a cause. She’s previously completed two 10K races in support of Chailey Heritage Foundation.

“This will be my third fundraising race, and definitely the most daunting… but also the most exciting!”

Reflecting on her journey, Paula adds:

“Ever since I was a young girl, I wanted a career where I could make a positive difference to people’s lives. Working at Chailey Heritage Foundation has given me the opportunity to meet and connect with amazing people, and I’ve learned so much, both personally and professionally.”

Let’s rally behind Paula and show our support!
