World Purple Day to Raise Awareness of Epilepsy

Today, we came together as a community to celebrate World Purple Day. This is an important moment for us to raise awareness of epilepsy and to recognise the children and young people who live with the condition every day.

At Chailey, 51 pupils have epilepsy. We see their strength, determination, and individuality in every lesson and activity. World Purple Day gives us the opportunity to highlight their experiences and champion greater understanding.

Across our site, colleagues and young people proudly wore purple. We are proud of everything our young people achieve, and we’re grateful to every colleague and family member who took part today.
