Richard Green Headteacher Richard joined Chailey in 2014 as Deputy Headteacher before becoming Head in January 2024. With a background in pastoral care and inclusion, Richard is an experienced leader in SEN care and education Emma Dewe Deputy Headteacher Emma joined Chailey Heritage as a teacher in 2008 and was appointed as Deputy Head in June 2024. Within her role as Deputy Head, Emma leads school admissions and is the school lead on medicine safety Oner Ozdamar Assistant Headteacher Oner joined Chailey Heritage School in 2015 with prior experience working in special needs units in mainstream secondary schools. Oner has been heading the Seymour Department since 2021 Paula Marten Assistant Headteacher Paula joined Chailey Heritage School in January 2015 as Manager of the Hanbury Department. She was appointed as Assistant Headteacher in April 2017 Amy Perkins Qualified Teacher of the Multi-Sensory Impaired (MSI) and MSI Lead Amy has taught in schools for over 20 years. First in mainstream before joining Chailey in January 2016. She has a Masters in Multi-sensory Impairment and supports students across the school as well as providing training to colleagues. Julie Tilbury Lead Teacher for Curriculum, EYFS and Sensory Learners (SPMLD) Julie has worked at special schools for over 30 years, and has been at Chailey for the past 15 years. She has a Master's Degree in SPMLD (Severe and/or Profound Multiple Learning Disability) and helped to design and implement the pioneering CHILD curriculum Stephen Snook Assistant Headteacher Stephen's teaching career spans over 20 years. Prior to coming to Chailey, he worked mainly with pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities either in a teaching or leadership capacity. He has a Masters in SPMLD (Severe and/or Profound Multiple Learning Disability) Hannah Storey Qualified Teacher of children and young people with Vision Impairment (QTVI) Hannah joined Chailey in 2016 with previous experience in both mainstream and special educational needs schools. She has a Mandatory Qualification for Teachers of Children and Young People with Vision Impairments Claire Hall School Administration Manager Claire joined Chailey in 2012 and oversees the school admin team, supports the School Leadership team and is a key member of the admissions team Michelle Maskell Music and Makaton Lead Michelle teaches music across the school, runs vocal and Makaton choirs, and trains colleagues to promote inclusive communication through Makaton.
