BAM Nuttall

Chailey worked with BAM Nuttall, a construction and civil engineering company, for a three-year partnership. BAM Nuttall provided the required materials as well as skilled volunteers over a number of volunteering days to help with a variety of projects across site.

Using skills for good

Thanks to their generous donations of skills and expertise they made the following happen:

• Erecting new fencing for our donkey paddock to contain the escape artists!
• Building compost bins on site
• Plumbing a hose to the bottom of the farm that helps make the farm team’s daily round a bit easier
• Planting over 250 trees and shrubs across the site
• Plus many, many more!

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication that BAM Nuttall put in to help Chailey Heritage Foundation focus on supporting children and young people living with complex disabilities. These jobs made a huge difference to the maintenance of Patchwork Farm and the experience for both the young people who visit the farm and the animals who live there.
