Running for Chailey Heritage Foundation is a fantastic way to commit to your goals while changing the lives of disabled young people.

About the Event

The Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in the United Kingdom; and is truly a Race For Everyone. It is now one of Europe’s largest half marathons and is Wales’ largest mass participation and multi-charity fundraising event.

Part of the coveted SuperHalfs Series, the iconic route takes in all of the city’s most famous landmarks including Cardiff Bay, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Castle. Expect cheering crowds and entertainment for all the family on the day, to add to the excitement.

Change a child’s life, one run at a time

Chailey Heritage Foundation changes the lives of young people living with complex disabilities. From being able to communicate to taking their first steps, we provide life-changing education, care and a thriving community of support for the young people and their families.

The flat, fast course passes all of the city’s most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay.

All runners will receive a race pack from the organisers ahead of race day with key details on how to get to the start line, start wave times, facilities along the course and what to do once you cross the finish line!
