The Big Chailey Online Auction

Chailey’s Big Online Auction returns this year, with a wide range of exciting lots donated by generous supporters for you to bid on!

We are very pleased to announce that The Big Chailey Online Auction is back! The auction will be live from 12pm Friday 31st October until 8pm Sunday 9th November and 100% of the proceeds go directly towards changing the lives of young people living with disabilities.

Get ready to place your bids on an incredible selection of lots — from Natural Trust days, gin bundles and ski lessons, to tasting menu experiences, luxury hotel stays and spa days!

With over 40 lots to bid on, this is the perfect chance to treat yourself to something special or even start your Christmas shopping early.

Every single item has been generously donated by businesses and our amazing supporters, meaning 100% of the proceeds go directly towards changing the lives of young people at Chailey Heritage.

No matter what your budget or interests are, there is something for everyone! So join us, bid big (or small!), and help us make a real difference.

🐝How it works

Step 1: Access our Auction Page

Go to the official auction page: jumblebee.co.uk/ChaileyHeritageFdnAuction
You’ll see a list of auction items, each with images, descriptions, and current bid amounts.

Step 2: Browse Auction Items

Scroll through the auction listings.
Click on any item to view more details, including:
- Starting bid
- Current highest bid
- Item description
- Auction end time

Step 3: Place a Bid

On the item page, enter your bid amount.
Click “Place Bid”.
You’ll be notified via email if someone outbids you, so you can return and bid again.

Step 4: Auction Ends & Winning Notification

If you’re the highest bidder when the auction closes, you’ll receive a winner’s email.
This email will include payment instructions.

Step 5: Make Your Payment

You may use any payment on Jumblebee, including:

Stripe (via Jumblebee) – secure online card payment.
Bank Transfer – details provided in the winner’s email.
PayPal – a payment link will be included if this method is used.

💡 Stripe payments incur a small fee (2.4% + 20p), which you may be asked to donate back to the charity.

Step 6: Receive Your Item

Once payment is confirmed, we will get in contact to arrange delivery or collection.
If the winner doesn’t pay, the item may be offered to the next highest bidder.

Eva's Story: The Joy of Chailey

Eva has been a part of Chailey Heritage Foundation since she was very small. Her charming wit and friendly nature make her a joy to be around.

As well as attending school at Chailey, Eva really enjoys the Holiday Club sessions and has been going for many years. She always brings lots of enthusiasm and light into every club she attends and is eager to join in at every opportunity.

"Eva is amazing!" says Activities Coordinator, Imogen. " She throws herself in to everything, no matter what we put in the schedule she puts her whole heart into in”.

Fully funded through donations, Holiday Club offers a fantastic opportunity for young people at Chailey to engage in familiar surroundings, stay active, and have fun with their friends while accessing the schools' facilities such as the Dream Centre, Hydrotherapy pool and sensory studio.

Thanks to your support, more young people like Eva can access opportunities like Holiday Club, a safe, engaging space during school breaks that also helps families enjoy more flexibility and quality time together.
