Get fundraising as a team

Ways to get involved

Taking on a fundraising challenge? Be sure to check if your company offers matched funding. Matched funding is when a company will match your fundraising pound for pound (usually, companies set a limit). If your company does not have a matched funding scheme, why not suggest it to them – it’s a great way to bring your team together, and they can claim tax relief on their donations. Payroll Giving is a great way to make regular tax-free donations to us straight from your salary. Ask your employer if they run a payroll giving scheme. Find out more about Payroll Giving here

To make a donation of goods that will support disabled children and young people, or to contribute prizes for raffles and events, please get in touch!

Do you have customer-facing sites? Could you host collection tins by your tills? Please contact us to find out more - and if you're local, we'll even drop it off to you!

How your support makes a difference

Support our Specialist Services or get involved in one of our projects and help every child, no matter their disability, to access education and unlock their potential. Here are a few recent examples of how businesses have supported Chailey:

  • Funding a child’s Hydrothearpy swimming sessions for a year
  • Ensuring every primary school child can access Hippotherapy for a term
  • Funding a season of therapeutic sessions at Patchwork Farm
  • Covering the costs of our much needed Holiday Club
  • Funding a siblings support group
  • Enabling a child to whizz around in the playground by funding mobility equipment (such as specialist trikes and walkers)
  • Supporting the development of vision and hearing, allowing our children to explore more of their world, through funding a new multi-sensory studio
  • Kitting out an accessible gym for disabled people from our local community
  • Giving the gift of being able to choose for themselves! Supporting our rehabilitation engineers and assistive technologists to explore the potential of technology to enhance young people’s independence and communication
