Chailey Heritage Foundation is a charity and our fundraising efforts allow us to open up a world of possibilities for children and young people living with complex disabilities. Thanks to generous donations, we can cover the costs of Specialist Services, facilities and equipment which offer young people the opportunity to achieve so much more than anyone ever thought possible and live their life to the fullest.This includes hydrotherapy, hippotherapy, the immersive space, patchwork farm, walkers, Singing Hands classes, and even Christmas presents.As a Fundraising Office Volunteer you will be supporting the fundraising team to run a variety of events and fundraising activities. What you will doAssist with planning and preparation of fundraising eventsSend communications and steward our supportersData entry and record keeping on CRM databaseHelp source prizes for fundraising events – both in person and over the phoneDistribute marketing materials in the local communityTake on own research projects to target different community groups eg supermarkets, talksSecure collecting tin locations and organize collecting tin routesWhat you will bringEnthusiasm and commitmentConfidence to talk to people on the telephone and in personOrganisational skillsIT knowledgeWhat we will provideBe part of a friendly and supportive teamInduction training and other learning relevant to your roleSupport through your named contact and the Volunteer CoordinatorReasonable expensesExperience in the fundraising sectorAn opportunity to be part of the community, changing lives for young people with disabilitiesTrainingSafeguarding, Data Protection, Equality and diversity, Manual Handling.
