Empowering every learner

Education is tailored, inclusive, and deeply personal. Our Education Assistants work alongside teachers, therapists and health professionals to support children with highly complex needs. The role requires resilience, teamwork and initiative – but the sense of purpose and achievement is second to none.

“It is hard work and requires commitment, but it is a hugely fulfilling job and can bring real joy.”

The Role: More than support – a vital presence in the classroom

You’ll help create meaningful learning experiences for students who often communicate in non-verbal ways and rely on adapted technology, sensory input and individualised approaches.

What makes this role challenging:

  • Supporting communication and engagement for pupils with limited or no verbal language
  • Providing personal care and medical procedures after training
  • Managing physically and emotionally demanding situations calmly and professionally

What makes it rewarding:

  • Watching a young person respond, engage, or achieve something new
  • Being part of a genuinely collaborative and expert team
  • Learning specialist skills and progressing within a supportive environment
