Company Secretary What’s your role at Chailey Heritage Foundation and what does it involve?In my role as Company Secretary, I lead the Governance Team, which is responsible for all aspects of governance across the charity, including the coordination and administration of the Board and sub-committee meetings. I also ensure full compliance with external regulatory requirements set by the Charity Commission and Companies House. In addition to my governance responsibilities, I oversee the volunteering programme, to support and develop volunteer engagement and recruitment across the charity.Could you share a little bit about your career history?My career began in the City of London with a shipbroking firm, where I gained my first experience of working in a fast-paced environment. I then moved to Baring Asset Management, also in the City, where I led the client-facing team responsible for delivering all reporting to clients. This role strengthened my leadership skills and gave me invaluable insight into high-level stakeholder engagement.What’s your favourite thing to do outside work?I love travelling and especially city breaks, both in the UK and Europe. I have a dog, so walking is a favourite for him and me!
