An extraordinary fundraising challenge has raised over £18,000 for Chailey Heritage Foundation and Evelina London Children's Charity.The Carry the Load Challenge was a challenge like no other! Teams of four took on a remarkable test of endurance in 24 unforgettable hours.Matt's daughter, Luna-Rose, passed away aged three. During her early years, she received support from our Aquamovers group.Marcellus's daughter, Jemima, passed away aged eight following an asthma attack. Evelina London Children's Hospital cared for her during her final days.Determined to honour their daughters' memories, they hiked an incredible 50km cross-country route, carrying 60kg of gym equipment throughout the challenge. Along the way, they completed 11 demanding workouts, combining physical strength, determination and teamwork!From hundreds of squats, deadlifts and bench presses to miles of challenging terrain, this challenge was completed within 24 hours with no sleep... Raising over £18,500! Funds raised through the challenge will be split between the two charities, helping to support children and young people who rely on specialist care and services.Every contribution played a part in making the event such a success and helping to create a lasting impact for the charities involved.
