Draw to Perform Festival Brings Artists and Audiences Together

The 7th Draw to Perform Festival welcomed artists, performers and visitors for a programme focused on Drawing & Disability.

The festival explored the relationship between drawing and live performance through a series of talks, workshops and performances. Participants had the chance to engage with a range of creative practices and hear from artists working in inclusive and accessible ways.

The theme of Drawing & Disability encouraged anyone to take part and get creative! Artists shared their experiences and approaches, providing valuable insights into their work and practice.

Day one featured a day full of live drawing performances

Day two featured three inclusive performative drawing workshops for people with disabilities.

We were especially pleased to see how much the young adults enjoyed taking part in the performative drawing workshops. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, creativity and engagement throughout the sessions.
