Meet Rob!

Man with a purple top smiling on a walk.

Robert is taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Chailey Heritage Foundation!

Having grown up in Sussex and now living here again, Robert has long been aware of Chailey Heritage and the support we provide for children and young people with complex disabilities.

Robert said:

"Chailey Heritage has been doing fantastic work for disabled children and young people for as long as I can remember. I'm really pleased to be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising money for such a fantastic charity."

Robert will be running alongside his friend, Steve Brown. While the pair have completed many races over the years, they do not usually ask for sponsorship. This time, however, they wanted to raise money for causes that are close to their hearts.

Robert is helping us continue to support children and young people living with complex disabilities. While Steve is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of his mother.

Speaking about his fundraising challenge, Robert said:

"I've set myself an ambitious target to raise £1,000 for Chailey Heritage, which supports children, young people and families living with complex disabilities, helping them achieve things many of us take for granted, from communication to mobility."

We're incredibly grateful to Robert for choosing to support Chailey Heritage through his Royal Parks Half Marathon challenge.

Good luck, Robert and Steve. We'll be cheering you on every step of the way!
