We'd like to say a huge thank you to St George's Day Club for funding a brand-new MOTOmed for our gym at The Activity Place.Members recently visited Chailey Heritage Foundation for a tour and cheque presentation after raising the funds through their annual charity lunch. Their generous donation has enabled us to purchase a new MOTOmed, helping children and young people access specialist adaptive gym equipment that supports their physical wellbeing and development. The donation is particularly meaningful to the group, as one member's daughter attends weekly sessions at The Activity Place. Seeing first-hand the positive difference the gym and its equipment make inspired the club to support this project and help more children and young people benefit from the service. The MOTOmed is a specialist piece of adaptive equipment that can support people with a wide range of physical disabilities and mobility needs. It provides assisted movement and exercise, helping users build strength, improve circulation and maintain physical activity in a safe and supported way.St George's Day Club has been a valued supporter of Chailey Heritage Foundation for many years. Through their fundraising efforts, they have raised more than £28,000 to support our work with children and young people with complex disabilities and health needs. Thank you to everyone at St George's Day Club who contributed to this fantastic fundraising achievement and helped make this donation possible.
