Kidenza are back!

Kidenza have been coming to Chailey for several years, and are a huge hit with the children, young people, families and carers! This year we are opening up the Kidenza concerts to everyone: whether you've been to Chailey before or this is your first time, we think you'll love it.

Each ticket gets you a two hour slot onsite at Chailey Heritage Foundation. In this time you'll enjoy a wonderful Kidenza concert, as well as other interactive musical workshops around the site.

Kidenza specialise in fully accessible and immersive concerts. Fast moving programmes with fun and educational snippets make this an unforgettable experience for the whole family. World class music for EVERYONE! Check our their website here.

Kidenza concerts are specially designed for children and young people of all abilities. Families are encouraged to relax and enjoy the music without the pressures that can sometimes come with traditional performances. Children can move amongst the orchestra, experience the vibrations through resonance boards, and engage with musicians in a relaxed and welcoming environment. These concerts are interactive, sensory-friendly and joyful — creating a wonderful experience for the whole family, for just £5 a ticket.

Need more convincing? Here's what our Head Teacher Richard Green had to say about a previous Kidenza concert at Chailey:

“Kidenza were the best performers I have EVER seen at Chailey Heritage. Wonderful with our very complex children, superb to listen to, I have never seen such engagement from the children with people from an external organisation. HIGHLY recommended, we hope to see them back soon”

To allow as many people to benefit from a Kidenza concert as possible, we have decided to space three concerts throughout Saturday 24th October. Each timeslot is two hours and includes a Kidenza concert for the second hour of your timeslot. During the rest of the time you are free to enjoy the other musical workshops we'll have on offer or enjoy a treat in our cafe.

The timeslots are as follows:

9:30-11:30

12:00-14:00

14:30-16:30

Please select your desired timeslot when booking your tickets.

How your support helps

At Chailey Heritage Foundation, we know that when barriers are removed, and the right environment exists, every young person can flourish and achieve extraordinary things.

Chailey Heritage Foundation wants to amplify young people’s voices, to celebrate their achievements, and to work with them in breaking down the barriers that society too often places in their way. But we cannot do this without you.

Your support will help to:

· Expand access to specialist education and services that unlock opportunities

· Invest in innovative technology that increases independence and voice

· Create inclusive spaces where young people can flourish, not just be cared for

· Provide support to families navigating daily societal barriers

· Champion rights, representation, and visibility so children, young people, and their families are seen, heard, and valued

Together, we can help ensure that children and young people with complex disabilities are recognised as leaders of their own lives: empowered, included, and celebrated.
