Jessie's Fund Deliver Music Sessions for Pupils

We were pleased to welcome Mark from Jessie's Fund this week who delivered music sessions for school pupils in St Martin’s department.
 
Our young people worked hard on their communication during the sessions and it was lovely to see them expressing themselves and making choices about what instruments they wanted to play.
 
Nina was very vocal throughout her session and enjoyed strumming the string instruments the most.
 
Jack responded well to the vibrations from the piano, laughing when notes were played for longer.
 
Anastasia enjoyed feeling the vibrations that the saxophone made and explored the different sounds a guitar could make.
 
Mark also spoke to staff about how to continue providing one-to-one music sessions and showed them some techniques to engage young people with the instruments.
