Life Assurance

Not something we want to think about, but  death in service cover can provide peace of mind for colleagues, knowing that their loved ones will receive financial support in the event of their death.

We're now providing 'death in service' life assurance cover for all full time and part time contracted colleagues, who are in the Aviva pension scheme, as part of your benefits offering.

If a colleague covered by the policy sadly dies, while employed by us, the insurance policy will provide a lump sum benefit to the designated beneficiary or beneficiaries.

- If you're in the standard scheme (4% colleague/4% employer contributions) you'll receive life cover of 4 times your salary, if you die in service.

 

-If you are in the enhanced pension scheme, you receive a life cover of 6 times your salary, if you die in service.
