Chailey Heritage Foundation is a unique place to work. Working as a team, we support every young person in our care so that they can pursue their full potential. The atmosphere here is one of warmth and support for the young people, their families and those who work here.
There is a real sense of making a difference and belonging to something very special.
We look for people who see the person, not the disability. Individuals who possess empathy and a genuine passion to help others and the capacity to find unique ways to build rewarding relationships with the young people here. Extensive training and support are provided, alongside a competitive salary and benefit package, as well as opportunities for career progression.
All new Day Support Workers and Education Assistant staff start at a very competitive hourly rate of £12 as we align with the UK Living Wage. This rate is independently calculated by the Living Wage Foundation based on the actual cost of living.
So, if you’re looking for a rewarding career that offers you the opportunity to make a real difference to a young person’s life every single day, then you’re in the right place.
Chailey Heritage Foundation offers a wide variety of roles both within our education and social care departments and also across our administration and support services. We are also very proud of our volunteer team who support across us the entire organisation and without whom many activities would not be able to run.
