We had a fantastic day at the Lewes FC Women's match on Sunday 5th February as their chosen charity where we raised £210 in donations. It was lovely to chat with so many people and spread the word about our work.
Young people and their families were also given a tour of the grounds and the opportunity to meet the players.
Will Folkes, Head of Fundraising at Chailey Heritage Foundation, attended the game to meet the players, management and supporters.
He said: "Lewes Football Club is widely respected for being the first and only gender equal club in the world, our charity shares this ethos, and we are delighted to be working with them as a charity partner on Sunday.
"Chailey Heritage Foundation is committed to working with other organisations that play a big role in the local community, and this gives us a real opportunity to reach out to new people and tell them what we do.
"We have some amazing children and young people here at Chailey Heritage, and some were able to enjoy the game on Sunday."
Thank you for making us feel so welcome Lewes FC, and thank you to all our volunteers for giving up your time!
