The tortoises that live at Patchwork Farm are out of hibernation and are starting to tuck into their salad. Recently, much to the delight of our young people, they joined in with the holiday club in the school. Everyone had lots of fun with the animals.
We have also had three little goat kids come to stay for a few weeks on the farm. They have been kindly loaned to us from a local farmer and the young people here at Chailey are already enjoying helping to feed them and having cuddles. The little boy is named Jeremy but our young people are going to name the two littlest girls, watch this space to see what they are named!
The running of the farm relies entirely on voluntary donations. To support the running costs of the farm, why not have a look at our new animal sponsorship packages here, They would make such a special gift for an animal lover.
