Chailey Heritage Foundation will be attending the South of England show on 10-12 June this year. The Show attracts visitors from all over the South East and takes place at the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex. The annual family-based event allows attendees to see, meet, and learn from farmers, landowners, rural businesses, and local artisan producers to truly connect with the countryside – and have a fantastic day out.
This year, Chailey Heritage Foundation will be represented at the show by the Patchwork Farm team. The farm has had a presence at the show since 2016 and it’s always been such a treat for the team, as the stand attracts visitors throughout the day, and everyone wants to talk about Chailey Heritage Foundation. People who have worked at the Foundation or who attended the school in years gone by use this as an opportunity for a catch up, and to learn more about what’s happening at Chailey Heritage Foundation now. It is also, of course, a wonderful way for people to learn about Chailey Heritage Foundation for the first time.
As Patchwork Farm is central to Chailey Heritage Foundation’s involvement with the show, the team will be relying on the support of the guinea pigs and tortoises, who will be coming along – there is nothing more appealing than animals, and visitors of all ages are drawn to the Patchwork Farm animal pens!
For details of disabled access, please check the South of England show website. Students from Chailey Heritage Foundation have visited the show on many occasions and moving around the site is manageable for wheelchair users.
We hope to see you there!
