Chailey Heritage took part in the Futures Convention at Eastbourne College on Friday 3rd March.
Hosted by the Eastbourne College Futures Department and the Eastbournian Society, over 40 career representatives, and 35 universities and colleges were on hand to offer advice to students on university choices, gap years and careers.
We were pleased to see that there was a lot of interest in careers in Special Education. Students asked questions about careers in Physiotherapy, SEN Teaching, working with children who have Sensory Impairments and Medicine. It was fantastic to see the level of enthusiasm for Special Education as a career – and lovely to make a link between two different East Sussex schools.
