On Thursday 6 January, residents of our Orchard bungalow were treated to a special pantomime performance of Frozen. Staff dressed up in costumes to play the leading roles of Elsa, Ana, Kristoff and Olaf the snowman and put on a comical show for the young people.
Kate Norrish, a support worker at Orchard bungalow, wrote and performed in the Frozen pantomime, providing scripts for all the staff which included comical twists on the original Disney classic.
The panto was performed in the Orchard bungalow which was decorated like an icy wonderland. Blue and silver streamers hung from the ceilings and doorways as well as snowflakes and sheets on the floor for a snowy surface.
Kate narrated the panto and provided props such as snowballs which were thrown at the audience and water guns which were sprayed when Olaf was speaking!
The young people had a brilliant afternoon of laughs and loved watching the staff perform, especially the fantastic ‘Let it Go’ number sung by Elsa.
