Our summer Holiday Club was a big hit last week.
Over three days, we held a wide range of activities for our school pupils to take part in during the summer holidays.
On day one, we began with a tie-dye session, using white t-shirts and socks to create our colourful designs. Some young people chose to go swimming instead in our hydrotherapy pool. At lunchtime, we followed a recipe to make disco cake pops. These were made from delicious Oreo biscuits. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a silent disco.
On day two, we made sensory globes using paint and plastic balls. At lunchtime, we did some messy play and finished the day with a fantastic drama workshop led by Chickenshed.
On day three, we had a water fight with water pistols and water bombs, soaking as many members of staff as we could! The lunchtime activity was art and crafts then we had a games afternoon to round off the day. This included using the catapult to aim balls at a target and New Age Kurling.
What a busy few days!
