We will be hosting a Virtual Transition Coffee Morning for parents on Thursday 23rd June from 10:30am - 12:30pm and would love to invite you to join us. This event will be delivered via Teams.
This is an information-sharing event for parents where you will have the chance to ask questions about topics connected with the transition to Adult Services and receive advice and information in return.
At this event, we will be joined by representatives from different local post-19 provisions who will talk about their services, how these can be accessed and answer any questions you may have.
Maria Sherwood and Emma Simmonds from Treloar College in Hampshire will talk about the specialist option that Treloar provides, for students wanting to continue in Education beyond the age of 19.
Charlotte Harpin will be joining us from Achieve Together, one of the UK’s leading care providers which delivers care through residential, supported living, outreach, and day services.
Leigh O’Donoghue is from Parchment Trust, a Hastings-based charity that provides personalised support, training opportunities and access to the community.
Denise Howard and Paula Marten will be there to talk about the support and information available at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
As numbers attending will be limited, please reply to office@chf.org.uk by Thursday 16th June 2022. Once we receive your acceptance of this invitation, we will send a link to you via which you can join the Teams meeting.
If you have any questions in relation to transition, please do send them through to the office email address, with your acceptance. Depending on the numbers, we may need to give priority to parents of the oldest children.
We do hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you there!
