We are thrilled that we sold 67 tickets, raising an amazing £345 for Chailey Heritage Foundation, with households listening virtually from across the country. Although mainly Sussex-based we were joined also by listeners from Devon, Newcastle and Wales. It was great to see so many new faces, and to share how the funds will help to support children and young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
Jason enthralled us with the story of what happened to the black crow who was once a colourful and tuneful bird. He then took us to the world of the Vikings with a tale of the trickster Loki, and to India where we heard why the god Ganesh has the head of an elephant. He finished with a tale of a Norwegian farmer's son who managed to trick a huge, scary troll and win an eating competition!
Thank you once again to everyone who got involved, we are so grateful, and we hope you all had a wonderful evening.
