Each day this week we are sharing the achievements of a few people who reflect the ambition and achievement of all the young people and staff here.
Mac has spent a long time learning to drive and has had a lot of hurdles to overcome.
Driving set ups have had to be changed and behaviours have had to be worked on to keep Mac safe when he is powering his chair.
This year Mac has come on leaps and bounds. Mac is showing greater skill and care with his driving than we have seen before and enjoying this new freedom to go out, make choices, learn in a new way and have fun.
We are very proud of how well Mac has done and as he grows older I am sure he will continue to develop this very important independence. For all his efforts and hard work ‘The Rachel Bexhell Memorial Prize for Mobility Progress’ has been awarded to Mac.
