Patchwork Farm is our on-site therapeutic care farm, providing unique learning experiences for all young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation. Our farm residents include pigs, pygmy goats, chickens, geese, tortoises, sheep, guinea pigs, ducks and a recent addition, a Shetland pony. The farm offers a calming, outside space where young people can enjoy spending time with the animals as well as providing benefits such as helping to build confidence and to develop language and communication skills.
Watch the video below to see how the farm has helped young people like Henry to develop confidence in new situations.
The cost of running our therapy farm has to be funded entirely through voluntary donations. If you would like to support the farm, here are just a few ways that you can help.
