We Need Governors

Do you have the time and expertise to join our governing board?
We currently have two vacancies and are looking for new governors to join our board with experience at a senior level and expertise in:
Schools or education management
The role will involve:
- Helping to shape a long-term ambitious vision for the school and the strategy to achieve that vision.
- Supporting the development of the CHILD curriculum created at CHF, and having an overview of the preparation of pupils for the next stage of their education and adult life, and other areas of school improvement.
- Agreeing/reviewing the school staffing structure to ensure it supports the delivery of the strategy.
Health, education or social care commissioning frameworks
The role will involve:
- Experience can be gained in Local Authorities, NHS or education settings
- Strong understanding of either health, education and social care commissioning frameworks ideally for children and young adults with complex neurodisabilities
- Ability to influence, challenge and support senior leaders and colleagues on the board.
