We’re thrilled to announce that The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded us £10,000 towards Patchwork Farm!
Thanks to their incredibly generous grant, we will be able to continue to host group community visits to Patchwork Farm such as Skippers Hill Manor Prep School who came to learn more about the animals and how to care for them.
We’ll be able to hold more corporate volunteering days like we have done in the past year with Zurich, Convergint and BAM Nuttall. These groups have been a massive help in maintaining key areas of our farm, from re-fencing the chicken coup to building a new guinea pig hutch and building compost bins.
We also have links with Plumpton College whose students volunteer with us on the farm.
We love connecting with our community through Patchwork Farm and enabling others to get involved with our work – thank you so much to The National Lottery players for helping us provide this service.
