Recently at Chailey Heritage Foundation, LSC users have been taking part in a series of art classes and autumn themed sensory art sessions.
George, Holly and Paul enjoyed spending time in the immersive space in our Dream Centre as part of an autumn themed sensory art session. They loved the autumn trees and bonfire scenes projected on the walls which created a lovely, cosy atmosphere and the wind chime music in the background was very relaxing.
Creative Arts Co-ordinator, Laura, had prepared boxes of leaves for the young adults to feel the crunchy textures and George really liked stamping these beneath his feet. Holly was shown how to trace over the leaves using flipchart paper which was a lovely activity to do using the fantastic immersive technology we have here at Chailey.
As well as this, there were tambourines, windchimes and xylophones for the young adults to play during their session.
