Students from the Hanbury department enjoyed a pancake tossing competition with a team of day students from school and a team who reside at the bungalows. Dr Martin Langer, Chailey’s engineer who works on many technical projects for the benefits of the young people, developed a special pancake holder on his previously constructed catapult. This enabled everyone to be able to participate using their own switches to activate the catapult. It was a lovely sunny day and the team from school won by one point! Well done everyone and thank you to Martin.
