Please be assured that the health and safety of event participants, volunteers, vendors and staff is our primary concern. We have worked hard to develop a fully compliant and detailed Covid Plan and Risk Assessment which has been approved by Mid Sussex District Council.
Procedures in place will include:
All attendees, volunteers, staff, contractors and vendors will be asked to take a lateral flow test up to 72 hours before the event, and not to attend if they have a positive result.
All attendees will be asked to take their temperature on the morning of the event and not to attend if temperature exceeds 37.3C.
Sides will be kept off tents & marquees to maintain ventilation.
All attendees will be asked to bring a face covering.
Details of all those attending will be collected for Track & Trace.
There will be signage to remind everyone about social distancing and hygiene.
Runners will be encouraged to leave bags in cars or not to bring a bag rather than use the bag drop.
Hand sanitising stations across the Race Village.
Managed queues to ensure social distancing.
Registration will be managed to reduce contact and where this is not possible surface wipes will be used regularly.
Social distancing will be in place at the race start.
Runners will collect water themselves at water stops.
Marshals will remind race side spectators to social distance.
Runners will collect medals themselves.
Those using the toilets will be given a surface wipe for the door handle etc.
