Staff member, Jackie, was recently awarded her 20 years Appreciation Award. She was presented the award by Adam, Aquatics Manager, and pupil, Lucy.
Adam said: "Jackie Webber has been an integral part of the Chailey Heritage family, having started out working on the bungalows as a house keeper, Jackie then moved to working in the pool whilst also supporting in school, working in the class rooms with the young people.
After this Jackie became a full time member of the Aquatics team, taking on the role of Aquatics Supervisor. Alongside this role Jackie supports on the bungalows too.
Since being in the Aquatics team Jackie has undertaken her RLSS Lifeguard Qualification, her level 1 swim teaching, Hallwick AST Foundation Course and has recently undertaken Makaton training. Through her work with school Jackie has also gained her intervenor training and NVQ 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Having someone of Jackie’s knowledge and skill set, is invaluable. We are all lucky to work with someone like her and every day is an adventure having Jackie as part of the team!"
