This afternoon, we were thrilled to welcome the amazing Louise Hunt.
Louise is a two-time Paralympian wheelchair tennis player for Great Britain and has competed at London 2012 and Rio 2016. She is also a former world number 2 in the junior wheelchair tennis singles rankings.
Louise gave an inspiring talk to our young people about her career and told us some funny stories about her competing years. Her advice was to keep believing in yourself which is something we advocate for here at Chailey Heritage Foundation.
Louise also did seven keepy uppy’s with the tennis racket and ball as part of her Amazing Chailey Challenge. This inspired Anastasia to have a go too and Louise showed her how to hold the tennis racket securely. Anastasia took some great shots across the Dream Centre.
Thank you to Louise for visiting us and chatting with our young people. This visit was made possible by the fantastic Tim Henman Foundation, a long-term supporter of Chailey Heritage.
