The Big Give 2022 raises over £20,000 towards new trikes and walkers

We did it – we reached our Big Give target of £20,000! In total, we raised a brilliant £21,968.

Every donation made between 29 November – 6 December was matched by our charity pledgers. A special thanks goes to Creative Pod, Vistry Group, Adavirtual, Knill James and Madison Solutions and our charity champion the Julia and Hans Rausing Trust.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated, shared or supported our Big Give campaign to raise money towards five new trikes and two walkers for young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation.

Thanks to you, we will now be able to provide more essential equipment, giving our young people the movement and freedom they deserve.

Faith’s mum Vicki, knows first hand the impact these pieces of equipment can have. “Thanks to your donations, more young people at Chailey Heritage will be able to access those specialist trikes and walkers. It will really change their lives and will give them the opportunity to experience more freedom and independence. It’s changed my Faith and it’s given her that chance to enjoy things that we never expected, and every child deserves that feeling.” Watch Faith's story here.

Walkers and trikes have many health and therapeutic benefits for young people with disabilities such as improving their joint mobility and increasing their muscle strength. Thanks to your donations, more young people will be able to enjoy these benefits.
